I'm just so excited... I had to share this with you!

I've been featured in the current issue of Red Magazine (September) doing the groundwork for the article Is Your Lunch Making You Fat?

The article is on pages 253-256 and my name's on page 253!

The journalist Lucy Mayhew gave me a list of possible foods including sandwiches, soups and wraps - food you might typically buy for an office lunch.

Working out the healthy and not-so-healthy options was not easy, as the most obvious answer is not always the right one. For example, there is no point in choosing an ultra-low calorie, low fat option if it makes you hungry two hours later and you hit the snack trolley!

And you can have a lunch that appears 'unbalanced' because of the food you eat at breakfast or dinner to give you a healthy diet. With my clients, of course, I am always looking at the eating plan for the whole day to get a balanced diet.

Special mention must go to the journalist who wrote the article, Lucy Mayhew. She absorbed my 'science-speak' and turned it into easy to read English, packing a huge amount of information into the piece. It's a beatutifully presented article with loads of information so do take a look.

And no, I didn't have to eat all the sandwiches!
